The value side takes on the classic design of the historic model by Prof. Albert Holl: a large, smoothly polished "5", surrounded by the inscription "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND" and "DEUTSCHE MARK" in narrow capital-letter antiqua script, below it the year of issue 2026 between two five-pointed stars as well as the mint mark "· D ·". New and exclusive is the filigree anniversary emblem within the curve of the digit – a small circle with "75 JAHRE DEUTSCHE MARK". A beaded border frames the image, just as on the original from 1951.

The reverse belongs to the eagle. Widely spread wings, powerfully stylized plumage, along with the inscriptions "FIFTY DOLLARS" and "Republic of Liberia" – as this piece is issued as an official coin of Liberia.
