Kettner-Edelmetalle© is a brand of Life-Coaching-Finance and is operated and personally supervised by the owner: Jürgen A. Kettner (Senior). Life-Coaching-Finance is a family business. Dominik M. Kettner (Junior) is an authorised signatory and co-partner. The registered office is in 78052 Villingen-Schwenningen.

Independence from banks allows Kettner-Edelmetalle to focus entirely on customer needs and in investment advisory provide impartial advice. Private customers as well as wholesale and institutional clients are part of the Kettner-Edelmetalle.de customer base.

Trading is conducted via the internet and by telephone. All orders are delivered to our customers by reliable logistics partners such as UPS/DHL, value couriers or secure logistics companies (Prosegur etc.). Kettner-Edelmetalle also advises private banks and asset managers as well as fee-based advisors on designing customised portfolios and solutions for precious metals trading. Kettner-Edelmetalle has already successfully trained 20 precious metals dealers.

Kettner Bullion offers all existing customers a buyback of the gold, silver, platinum and palladium products purchased from us. Price-linked items (e.g. gold bars, investment coins) are based on the current precious metal rate. For special limited-edition coins (collector coins), the purchase is based on an individual valuation. This takes into account the current precious metal rate, the condition of the coin and current market demand. Depending on demand and availability on the market, an additional collector's value may be taken into account.

Kettner Bullion offers a straightforward shipping cost overview.

Your goods are carefully packed by us with white cotton gloves, silently, into neutral parcels. From the outside, there is no indication that the parcel contains valuable goods. There is no reference to precious metal deliveries on the shipping label, as our sender address is anonymously coded and changed at irregular intervals.

We insure every order in full for our private customers at our own shipping risk. Depending on the value, weight and chosen payment option of the respective shipment, you can UPS/DHL or alternatively choose a specialised courier service or secure transport provider to handle the delivery to you. Please note that UPS/DHL parcels must not exceed a value of €10,000. We therefore reserve the right to split larger orders into multiple parcels. For values above €20,000, we recommend choosing the value courier.

Our logistics partners have many years of experience in shipping valuable goods. UPS and DHL deliver against signature either to your private address or to a selected parcel shop. Value couriers and secure logistics providers, however, deliver exclusively to your private address.

When receiving a shipment from UPS/DHL or a courier, it is important that the delivery is undamaged If this is not the case, refuse acceptance (e.g. torn packaging or damage to the parcel). A delivery driver or courier is not obliged to open the goods in your presence.

For deliveries to business addresses, handover at the reception or the relevant mailroom on site cannot be ruled out. Please ensure your presence or communicate with us.

If you have made special arrangements with UPS or DHL for delivery of the goods to an agreed preferred location, the liability risk passes entirely to you once your order is deposited.

The standard transit time from dispatch to delivery to the recipient is within 2 business days after receipt of payment. The shipping duration depends on the information shown on the product detail page and in the shopping cart. This may vary depending on the ordered item and chosen shipping method.

The packaging is indicated on the respective product page. Bars are usually sealed in transparent foil or blister packs. All gold coins are delivered in coin capsules. Silver coins are delivered in coin pouches or coin capsules. Special editions are typically also delivered in cases or display stands.

You will receive an email with the tracking numberimmediately after dispatch to track the delivery until handover at the delivery address. Secure logistics providers such as Prosegur (selectable separately during the order process) exclude shipment tracking for security reasons. In the latter case, you will be notified separately by the transport company by arrangement shortly before handover.

The assembly of your order is carried out by long-standing experts in a high-security section of our logistics centre under the surveillance of multiple high-resolution cameras. This ensures full traceability that your order has left our logistics centre completely. As an additional advanced quality measure at the goods dispatch stage, our logistics specialists work according to the four-eyes principle with additional weight and authenticity checks (using X-ray spectral analysis and calibrated precision scales).

After the outgoing goods inspection, your coins and bars are packed in tamper-evident safe bags that guarantee the security of the goods, so that no one can unnoticed remove or exchange the contents of the shipment. With additional padding material, these safe bags are placed in sturdy, break-proof packaging and enclosed in another security safe bag or carton that can only be opened once, making any damage or external tampering by third parties immediately visible.

We generally only ship goods once payment has been received. We therefore ask you to make the bank transfer (advance payment) no later than three business days after placing the order. As soon as we have recorded the receipt of payment, you will receive an automatic payment confirmation by email.

Besides the classic prepayment by bank transfer, you can pay directly online: by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna — in Switzerland additionally with TWINT. For orders up to €2,000 you can also pay cash on delivery. Depending on the order value, individual online payment methods may be limited; the checkout always shows all options available for your order.

For payment by bank transfer (advance payment), we ask you to transfer the invoice amount within 3 business days of placing the order to the following account:

Our prices are currently updated every 3 minutes, and you will be explicitly notified of possible price changes in the order summary before the binding purchase with a highlighted notice.

No, the price does not change after the „purchase". The payment conditions described at the time of the binding purchase apply. In the event of late payment, we reserve the right to withdraw from the sale or to charge a cancellation fee (as per our terms and conditions).

If you would like to sell our products commercially, we can register you as a dealer. The price advantages of such a registration are minimal, but you will gain the ability to place bulk orders by phone, thereby saving on shipping costs. YES, we also accept cash on delivery payments with UPS/DHL as the shipping provider. The maximum order limit is €1,999. Please have the exact purchase amount ready down to the cent, otherwise delivery of the goods cannot be guaranteed due to limited change carried by UPS/DHL drivers.

No, the account holder must also be the person who placed the order, whose name appears on the invoice (Anti-Money Laundering Act).

For security reasons, we currently only offer classic bank transfer (advance payment) and cash on delivery.

Gold or silver investment coins are internationally recognised. They can therefore be resold at virtually all dealers and banks worldwide. Due to their thin profile and high-quality minting, they are also more counterfeit-resistant than bars. Rare and sought-after designs also often feature an increasing collector value.

Bars on the other hand, are generally cheaper than coins from a weight of 50 grams. They are therefore better suited for a pure investment strategy. We recommend mixing coins and bars and primarily acquiring smaller denominations, especially for the advantage of easier exchange.

This question cannot be answered in general terms and depends largely on your investment strategy and your risk awareness In general, we recommend that a cautious investor buy more gold than silver. Conservatively, we recommend holding approximately 80% of the portfolio in gold coins and gold bars and investing only 20% in silver or other strategic metals such as palladium and platinum.

However, we see the greater potential of the three latter metals in Silver, as industrial demand is enormous, its history of use has a longer tradition than platinum and palladium, and the market is larger than that of both metals. Unlike stock market speculation, as a private individual taxable only in Germany, you do not have to pay taxes on capital gains from physical precious metals, provided that between purchase and sale a minimum holding period of one year has elapsed.

Within one year, gains must be declared on the tax return. Precious metals dealers and banks do not report to any authorities (tax office etc.) when buying or selling precious metals.

No. The Krugerrand contains a full troy ounce of fine gold (31.1 grams). To achieve special scratch resistance, 2.83 grams of copper are added. This gives the Krugerrand gold coin a total weight of 33.93 grams and its distinctive reddish tint.

Kettner-Edelmetalle works only with the most reputable manufacturers and distributors in the world. As experts in the precious metals industry, our main partners are major mints, bar producers and banks. We exclusively deliver brand-new, freshly minted goods (exceptions are marked separately).

Kettner-Edelmetalle guarantees with its name and experience, both in sales and purchasing, the unrestricted quality and authenticity of all traded products. Every product is explicitly checked for authenticity before it leaves our shipping warehouse to our customers. We only work with partners who bring many years of experience in the precious metals business.

All Bars come with certificates of authenticity. For Coins this is uncommon, as they do not have a serial number. Only rare coins or collector pieces have certificates of authenticity and are therefore usually significantly more expensive. We always explicitly indicate enclosed certificates on the product detail pages. The bar certificates contain various information about the bar, its origin, dimensions and are provided with a sequential serial number.

However, there are older bars that do not have a security certificate. In these cases, you will also find this information on the product detail page. Bars without a certificate are of course just as valuable as bars with a certificate, as the gold value itself is what matters. Our bars and coins predominantly come from LBMA-certified manufacturers. The only exception is the „Schloss Güldengossa" bar series.

Our prices are automatically updated every 3 minutes and adjusted to current market prices. The indicator for this is the price update (countdown timer). However, prices may also change faster or slower, depending on the product category.

You can order either via a customer account or a guest account. In both cases, we require your name, email address and delivery address.

Modifying an order after it has been placed is not possible due to the agreed conditions. In individual cases, you are welcome to contact us by phone or email to have this reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

The prices in the online shop are updated every 3 minutes. By pressing the „F5 key" or refreshing your browser window, the prices of investment products change regularly as the current precious metal rates are loaded.

You will receive from us on business days within a few minutes a binding order confirmation. Please then transfer the invoice amount to the account specified in the order confirmation within 3 business days. The data will not be disclosed or passed on to third parties without your consent, with the exception of the use of web analytics services. For precious metals, there is no right of withdrawal or cancellation, as these are, similar to securities, irrevocable forward transactions Since precious metals are subject to very strong price fluctuations on the capital market, the legislator protects both buyers and sellers in this way. Once prices are fixed by a binding order confirmation on our part, we must deliver at the agreed purchase price and the buyer must pay the agreed price in full. We hereby expressly refer to our Terms & Conditions.

For organisational reasons, it is unfortunately not possible to combine multiple orders to save on shipping costs. Each order received is processed and shipped independently of any subsequent order, meaning separate shipping costs apply for each additional order. The maximum permissible weight per shipment is 15 kg. If your order is heavier, we reserve the option to ship the order in multiple deliveries. No additional costs apply for this (only for orders from 150 kg or €300,000 in value).

An anonymous order is the option to purchase from us without storing a password in the online shop that would allow subsequent login to a customer account. This order variant is ideal for one-time purchases with the highest level of discretion. We are nevertheless obliged to store all order information in encrypted form.
