MALTA CoinBars

A bar with a face value

According to Heimerle + Meule, the CoinBars are issued under licence from the Central Bank of Malta. The face value is the amount that stands as a number on the bar.

The carton names Heimerle + Meule and “Part of HM Precious Metals” and bears the mark of the Royal Dutch Mint: these are the details on the packaging.

The 50 x 1g Silver Heimerle und Meule Minted Bars Unity Box is a product that was available in this form exclusively at Kettner Edelmetalle. 50 individual minted bars of one gram each, made from 999.9 fine silver, packed in an elegant CoinBar Box – this is inflation protection in its most convenient and at the same time most flexible form. Each individual bar bears the iconic Maltese cross, the inscription "MALTA", the face value of 15 euro cents and the year 2026. Plus the seal "Made in Germany". Quality you can see – and feel.

What makes this Unity Box so special?

Minted bars combine the best of two worlds. At first glance, they look like classic bars – rectangular, compact, with the typical shine of pure silver. But due to the embossed face value, they officially attain the status of a coin. This means: these bars are a recognized means of payment in the issuing country, Malta. A fascinating detail that further underlines their collector's value.

The division into 50 individual 1-gram units makes the Unity Box exceptionally flexible. Whether you want to give away individual bars, use them as a means of exchange in times of currency instability, or build up your portfolio gram by gram – this box gives you all the freedom you need. The small denomination in particular is a huge advantage over larger bar formats.

Heimerle und Meule – Tradition since 1845

There is no unknown name behind this product. Heimerle und Meule, part of the HM Precious Metals Group, looks back on a history dating back to 1845. In collaboration with the Royal Dutch Mint, this exclusive Unity Box was created – a combination of German precision and Dutch minting tradition. The result? Brilliant Uncirculated minted bars of impeccable quality, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

"Silver is the money of the common man – and the wise man knows how to appreciate it." – Old wisdom of the precious metals world

Silver as a shield against crises and inflation

Why silver in particular? The answer is as old as human history itself. For millennia, this precious metal has served as a reliable store of value. While paper currencies come and go – and with them the purchasing power of entire generations – silver retains its intrinsic value. It is tangible, it is real, and it is limited in supply.

Industrial demand for silver is growing steadily. Electronics, solar technology, medical technology – the white precious metal is needed everywhere. This dual demand, both as an investment metal and as an indispensable industrial raw material, makes silver one of the most exciting precious metals of our time. And this could well speak for positive performance in the long term.

Don't forget the tax advantages

Another plus point that is often overlooked: profits from the sale of silver are generally tax-free, provided you observe the minimum holding period of one year. This makes physical silver not only a tool for crisis protection, but also a tax-attractive building block for your long-term wealth strategy.

Comparison with other silver products

Compared to classic CombiBars, where individual segments are broken out of a larger plate, the minted bars of the Unity Box offer the advantage that each piece is already present as an independent unit – cleanly minted, individually removable and immediately ready for use. In addition, minted bars enjoy a special legal status due to their official face value, which conventional bars do not have.

Compared to larger silver coins such as the Maple Leaf or the Vienna Philharmonic, the Unity Box scores above all through its extreme divisibility. 50 grams divided into 50 units – that is maximum flexibility for the modern investor who values freedom of action.

Who is the Unity Box ideal for?

This product is aimed at everyone looking to get started with physical silver or wanting to supplement their existing precious metals portfolio with small, highly flexible units. It is excellently suited as a gift, as a foundation for the retirement provision of the next generation, or simply as tangible protection against the uncertainties of our time. Silver is durable, recognized worldwide and highly liquid – it can be converted into cash anytime, anywhere.

The 50 x 1g Unity Box by Heimerle und Meule was an exclusive promotional product at Kettner Edelmetalle and is now sold out. Whoever managed to secure one holds a piece of German minting craftsmanship in their hands – visually impressive and convincing as solid wealth protection.
