Five ounces of silver, 50.90 millimetres in diameter, a design that doesn't rise up out of the surface but instead leads down into it. The incused technique simply reverses the familiar relief effect: the bird lies recessed beneath the coin's surface, and the light travels differently through the design with every movement. The Kookaburra in Flight – the 2026 Design

The reverse was designed by Wade Robinson.
