With the Golden Eagle and Wolf Gold Set 2025, you acquire physical gold in its purest form – two coins of 0.5 g fine gold each, totaling 1 gram of pure precious metal. The set is among the smallest gold coins ever produced and, with only 100 pieces worldwide, is also one of the most strictly limited editions Kettner Edelmetalle has ever released. Anyone who owns one of these sets holds a genuine rarity in their hands – and above all, tangible fine gold value.

Wolf and golden eagle: two powerful designs in the finest fine gold

One coin depicts a wolf with bared fangs and a wild gaze, surrounded by fir trees and deep coniferous forest. On the reverse, a howling wolf raises its head before a full moon. The second coin is dedicated to the golden eagle: once perched watchfully on a branch, every feather finely detailed, and once approaching with wings fully spread in flight. Both coins bear the stamped fineness, the face value of 25 dollars, the year of issue 2025, and the inscription of the Republic of Liberia. Colored and partially gilded accents lend the animals additional depth. The design provides this set's personal touch – while the true substance remains the pure fine gold.

Proof – the highest minting quality

Both coins are struck in Proof quality. This elaborate PP minting process creates mirror-bright surfaces and a matte, sculptural relief – showcasing the finest details of fur and feathers to striking effect. The reeded edge and diameter of 14.00 mm each round out the design. The set is delivered in an elegant black case, the interior of which depicts the wolf and golden eagle facing each other against golden sparks.

1 gram of fine gold as a physical gold investment

The value of this set is based primarily on its fine gold content and moves in line with the gold price. Gold is humanity's oldest currency, a proven store of value for over 6,000 years – and possesses an intrinsic value that has never fallen to zero. Because the global supply is limited, the precious metal is considered a scarce, long-term stable asset. This allows you to build physical wealth in small increments: highly liquid, tradable at any time, and resalable worldwide. As investment gold, the purchase is VAT-free in Germany; profits from a later sale are generally tax-free after a holding period of one year. The very low mintage adds further appeal: once this small series is sold out, there will be no re-minting – a circumstance that fuels the appreciation potential of these coins.

Gold is God's money – small coins like this set are the glittering ambassadors of a millennia-old currency.

A genuine gold investment as a gift

Thanks to the elegant case and the two striking animal designs, this set is also an excellent choice for gifting genuine investment gold – for a birthday, Christmas, or any other special occasion. What matters most: you are not giving a mere souvenir, but full-fledged, physical fine gold whose value tracks the gold price. Despite its personal character, the solid substance of pure gold remains the focus – and the extraordinary limitation to just 100 pieces makes this set a particularly rare collector's coin with additional potential for value appreciation. Secure your piece while the small mintage lasts.
