2 Unzen Silber Horus 2016 (Auflage: 25.000 | Ägyptische Relikte)

Die zweite Münze aus der Serie Ägyptische Relike ist dem Gott Horus gewidmet. Der Name Horus ist die lateinische Version von HERU. Der Name bezieht sich auf seinen Status als Himmelgott und gehört zu den wohl am meisten abgebildeten Götter des ägyptischen Reiches. Horus wird als Falke oder auch als stehender Mensch mit Falkenkopf, der zuweilen eine Doppelkrone trägt, dargestellt. Beim Design der Münze hat man sich entschieden, einen Mann mit einem Falkenkopf abzubilden, der die Doppelkrone trägt – Das Symbol der Herrschaft über Unter- und Oberägypten.
