The design: power, colour and golden shine on 40 millimetres

The obverse shows the tiger attacking. Snarling, with bared fangs, its paw pressing forward – the gaze of the green-gold eyes appears almost uncomfortably close. The reverse tells the calmer half of the story: the Bengal tiger strides through dense tropical greenery, grasses and treetops are rendered in fine colour gradients, while the background transitions from deep black into warm gold. Around the rim you can read "20 DOLLARS", "REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA", the year of issue 2025, as well as the fineness note "1 OZ FINE SILVER 9999" on the design side. This combination of colour printing and gold application is the reason why the silver coins in this series appear so vivid in showcase lighting.

Finished in Germany: two processes, one result

The base coin leaves the mint as a classic ounce coin. Only afterwards does the real effort begin: at a specialist German workshop, each individual piece is partially gilded for Kettner Edelmetalle and subsequently coloured in multiple colours. Both steps require precision down to a tenth of a millimetre, as the colour edges and gold surfaces must not blend into one another. The reeded edge remains untouched, and the Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) grade is preserved. The coin is delivered protected in a coin capsule.
